Exercise and Leisure
In this section you will find good advice on exercise, travelling and partying – as a person with diabetes you can do all three things as well as anyone else but you need to take some precautions.
Exercise is as healthy for people with diabetes as it is for anyone else. You'll feel better, both mentally and physically, if you exercise regularly.
Diabetes doesn't need to stop anyone from travelling, but it is important that your blood sugar is well controlled and that you take all the necessary precautions. In this section you'll find plenty of good advice - well worth taking the time to read!
Travel insurance information
If you know you're going to drink alcohol, it may be wise to take less evening/night insulin than usual. If you have a hangover the next day, you might need to adjust your morning dose as well.
